Pickled Red Onions
Pickled onions are a great addition to tacos, nachos, salads and are such an easy thing to keep around in your fridge. It takes about 5-10 minutes to put these together and they will last for months in the fridge.
Pickled Red Onions
Ingredients:
1 Red Onion
1 cup water
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Salt
Directions:
Slice the red onion using a mandolin slicer and add to a glass jar.
Add the liquids, salt and sugar. Shake until the salt and sugar dissolve.
Let sit for at least an hour before using and then store in the fridge. Should last for a few months.
