Sweet & Romantic Valentine's Tablescape

I believe that the design of the table where you serve your meal, needs to be just as beautiful as the dish you’ve spent so much time preparing. Some people may say I’m obsessed with dishes, table linens and glassware… and honestly, they aren’t wrong. I know I’m obsessed. There’s no reason to hide it. I love decorating my dining table for dinners. Playing with colors and textures is a simple way to kick your dinner party up a notch. I have several sets of champagne flutes, wine glasses, party plates. You name it, I have it! Some day I’m going to need a closet just for my glassware and dishes. A girl can dream -right?!

I went pretty simple with this table setting and only used pale pink flowers and a large candle to set the stage. For dinner that night, I served 4 courses so there needed to be lots of room for extra platters. These linen napkins are from Mark and Graham which is usually my go to for embroidered linens. A good set of table cloths is a really great gift idea for a newly engaged or married couple. They’ll last a long time and make every meal feel special. Include a wine glass and water goblet for beverages. Add a champagne flute if you are celebrating! Be sure to provide both an appetizer and entree fork. Your steak knife always lies on the right of your plate with the blade facing inwards for protection. Add a bunch of pink flowers and a candle. So easy. Take the extra few minutes and lay a beautiful tablescape for your next meal!
