Candied Pecans

This is one of my favorite treats and such a great gift to give someone wrapped up in a jar. These are so simple and easy to make.

Candied Pecans

Ingredients:

1 pound halved pecans (no salt)

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

3 egg whites

1/2 cup melted unsalted butter (1 stick)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Combine all ingredients except pecans.

  3. Add pecans to coat.

  4. Spread over a silpat or buttered pan and bake for 30 minutes, mixing every 10 minutes. Let cool for at least 10 minutes.
