Holiday Season is Over

As we were finally taking down our Christmas tree this week, I was thinking about my favorite parts of the season. I love seeing friends and family. I absolutely love to buy presents for people. My niece paid me the best compliment last year by saying “You always give the BEST gifts, Auntie Anna!” My heart leaped! I love spending time and trying to find the absolute best gift for people. I try to hold onto little kernels or hints that I hear throughout the year.

Then I started to think more about gifting and realized one of the best parts of gifting is the wrapping. It sounds funny, but I will miss the wrapping part of the Christmas season. I love the ribbons, bows, string and pom poms. The gifts serve as a big part of my Christmas decor! While wrapping, I find myself thinking about each and every person I am giving a gift to, why I appreciate and why I love them. It’s a sweet part of the season to take time and reflect on the really important, special people in your life. I’m already counting down to the holidays of 2020!
