Moore Food Martini
There is nothing quite like a dry gin martini. They are one of my ultimate indulgences. At a fancy date night or dinner out, martinis are always my go to. I love to drink them out at bars or restaurants, but my very favorite is to have them at home made by my husband, Josh. Our recipe for the Moore Food Martini is below.
Moore Food Martini
Ingredients:
2.5 oz good quality Gin (such as Plymouth or Aviation)
0.25 oz dry vermouth
Olives or Lemon Peel for garnish
Special Equipment:
Chilled Martini Glass
Julep Strainer (Example here)
Mixing Pitcher (Example here)
Mixing Spoon (Example here)
Jigger (Example here)
Directions:
Fill a cocktail pitcher with ice, add all measured liquids and stir for at least a minute with a mixing spoon. Use a julep strainer to strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with olives or lemon peel.
