Christmas Bark

I realize the name may throw you off, but this is great for any time of the year. I particularly love to make it during Christmas time as a treat for my office or family and friends. It is so addicting. After a week, my husband told me we had to throw it away because we were eating way too much.

Christmas Bark

Ingredients:

  • 28 oz bag of semi sweet chocolate

  • 11 oz bag of caramel bits

  • 2 cups pretzels

  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Directions:

  1. Line a half sheet pan with wax paper.

  2. Melt chocolates using a double broiler method or in a microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.

  3. Spread chocolate evenly over the wax paper. Sprinkle on the pretzels and peanuts. Press the pretzels and peanuts down into the chocolate.

  4. Melt caramel bits in a microwave or by using a double broiler.

  5. Drizzle the caramel over the bark and then pop the pan into the fridge for about an hour to set.

  6. Break into pieces to serve.
