Christmas Bark
I realize the name may throw you off, but this is great for any time of the year. I particularly love to make it during Christmas time as a treat for my office or family and friends. It is so addicting. After a week, my husband told me we had to throw it away because we were eating way too much.
Christmas Bark
Ingredients:
28 oz bag of semi sweet chocolate
11 oz bag of caramel bits
2 cups pretzels
1 cup salted peanuts
Directions:
Line a half sheet pan with wax paper.
Melt chocolates using a double broiler method or in a microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.
Spread chocolate evenly over the wax paper. Sprinkle on the pretzels and peanuts. Press the pretzels and peanuts down into the chocolate.
Melt caramel bits in a microwave or by using a double broiler.
Drizzle the caramel over the bark and then pop the pan into the fridge for about an hour to set.
Break into pieces to serve.
